P90X

I am what I call a 'social exerciser'.  As long as it's fun and I'm with people I like, I'll exercise, usually to the point of sweating. Voleyball, tennis, walking, dancing, etc.For his birthday Talon asked for P90X.  It's an extreme workout program.  As I'm always threatening to exercise and have a great track record of up to 3 sustained weeks of exercise, he talked me into doing it with him.  Seriously, I had no idea what I was getting into.

He wrote out which cd's to do everyday on the calender (and some days there are 2 programs!!!!!!!!!) and he hounds me till I do it.  I guess hounds is the wrong word...encourages and prods me to keep doing it is more like it.  Honestly, I've been so stiff and sore I don't want to do it, but when he tells me he is proud of me after a hard workout, I'm like a 2 year old who's just been gifted with ice cream.  He figured it out that the day he leaves to go to college is the 90th day of P90X and our completion day.  I love that we are doing this together..Even if I do wake up when I turn over in bed bc I'm so sore.

Bonus also is I hope to look better in 90 days.  I took the before picture today. Kellie is probably scarred for life and is the only person who will ever, emphasis on the EVER, see it besides me.   Be very grateful.

(The ""'s are, of course, because I am not writing down my workouts or actively participating in the nutrition guide. haha, maybe i'll jump on the bandwagon. but, as you well know, i don't know if i could handle the break from my sugar cereals :)
