Bone tired

I spent about 5 hours gardening today and then went to a friend's home to help her move.  Lucy Mack Smith did have to drive oxen, but Margaret had to pack a house, pack up stuff for 6 kids (oldest 18-2 year old), a dog, and drive it all to Utah. She has some great parents who came out to help her and wonderful friends who've helped for the last few days.  Still, it is a huge job. She is such a great mom.  She knows this move is hard for the kids and she let them do whatever they wanted today with friends.  She says they will have to work their tails off once they get to Utah, so they should have time to play now, while she has a strong support system who can help her here.  Amazing.  At no point did she sound stressed, upset, hurried etc.  I would be the opposite of her, but I would really like to be more like her.  I'm the one going around and making lists for each room about what needs to be done and assigning people to rooms etc.  She is the one saying, "Don't worry.  It will all get done."  I would love to be more breezy, but breezy seems to be against my nature.

I am waiting to hear how Tyler thinks he did on the MCATS.  He has been studying and this is a huge thing for him and his future. He usually does well on tests.

SYTYCD started tonight.  It was good, and really as much fun to listen to and watch the judges as it was to see the dancers.  I can't wait until the field is narrowed down and the talent is concentrated.  Some were really amazing.

Bedtime. ZZZzzzzzzz.....
