Wow, the summer of 2011 has flown by.

Marriage, missions, and travelings.  Jeremy got engaged in June. Actually I was sitting in Hyrum's hospital room chatting with him after his surgery, when Jeremy called and told us he was engaged. We were quite excited and absolutely love the girl.  He had brought Krystal home twice previously and we really liked her.  She 'gets' Jim and loves to play games, which puts her right into the thick of things in our family.  Jodi and I are more of the watchers and have the games we like and will play, but the rest of the family plays everything and anything, all the time.  They were married in the Denver temple and wanted a casual reception at the park. I found a wonderful site of top of a hill with a 360 degree view of the mountains, Denver and surrounding areas. Everything worked out splendidly.

Jamie in Russia and Talon in Netherlands are doing fantastic. Jamie and her companion travel the mission training and doing split offs with other sister companionships. Talon is with his trainer in Al-mere, loving life and pastries by the look of it. His hair is super short and he really resembles Jeremy now.

Jeremy and Krystal are back in Rexburg getting ready to start school.  They lived here for a week and it was sooo much fun to have them here. They are darling together and I can't believe they were willing to travel across the United States with us so soon after their marriage. (To Ohio and back) That shows how easy going they are. Jim and I are no walk in the park to travel with.

Tyler is in Hawaii doing installs for Vivent for a month.  That kid lives a charmed life. Jodi meanwhile, is in Murray Utah teaching 150 seventh graders English.  Where is the justice?! They have been married 2 year now and Jodi has the dubious honor of closing up two apts and then setting up 2 new apts- by herself, as Tyler was in another state working.  It is a good thing he married a strong independent woman who knows how to do things by herself.  They are madly in love which is wonderful.

Kellie is liking Broomfield more this year and being a much more delightful child. I can't believe she is a senior this year. I can't believe Hyrum is a sophomore.  He is doing well in school and really likes it. Boy, does he hate his father. He has so much anger.  I know some of the reasons, but I have to think there is a lot we don't know, that will eventually come out.  I'd love to be there for him as Robin says he is happier and behaves better when I'm around. My heart goes out to him.  I love the kid.
